Unlike traditional windcatchers, the Sirjan windcatcher stands out with its distinctive appearance and a series of air inlets shaped like pipes. Choppoq operates by drawing air from its underside air intake using a fan. The air then passes through a nano-carbon filter and undergoes UV light treatment, effectively removing particulates, germs, and viruses. Finally, the purified air is released through the outlet located at the top of the product.

Aside from its efficient air purification capabilities, Choppoq also serves as a stylish decorative object. The design and production of Choppoq started in April 2020 and was completed in August 2020 in Tehran, Iran. Throughout the development process, the design team faced the challenge of striking a balance between form and function. However, their efforts paid off, resulting in a product that seamlessly combines efficiency and aesthetics.

Choppoq has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate ingenuity, technical skill, and contribute to improving the quality of life.
